Shujaa Rugby Team Heads to France for Final Olympic Preparations
With the Olympic Games less than a month away, the Kenyan men’s rugby team, Shujaa, has concluded their local training camp and will be moving to Kenya’s Olympic training base in Miramas, Southern France, on Monday night. Today, head coach Kevin Wambua named the final squad that will represent Kenya in Paris.
As Shujaa moves to Miramas, the focus will be on adapting to the conditions and finalizing their strategies for the Olympic Games. The team’s time in Southern France will be crucial for their performance in Paris, providing them with the opportunity to acclimatize and refine their game plans.
“We have worked very hard in camp over the past four weeks but mostly the focus has been on fine tuning our defence and attack variations. We now head to Miramas to fine tune our preparations.” Kevin Wambua said.
