12-times FKF premier league champions Tusker FC confirmed the signing of Jacob Onyango and Eric Balecho from Sofapaka FC and Murang’a Seal respectively.

Balecho has been with the Murang’a outfit for four years and was part of the squad that led the club to gain automatic promotion to the top tier last year.

The winger has been instrumental to Murang’a Seal who finished 13th with 38 points and his performances earned him a National team call-up and he consequently attracted interest from several top-flight clubs but opted to join the brewers.

“I am thrilled to be joining such a prestigious club with a strong tradition of success, I look forward to contributing to the team’s ambitions and achieving great,” Balecho said.

In addition, the brewers also completed signing youngster Jacob Onyango from Sofapaka for a two-year deal. The St Anthony’s Kitale man scored eight goals in 15 league matches and was also instrumental for  “Batoto Ba Mungu” as they edged National Super League Naivas FC in the relagation / promotion playoff.

The player expressed his delight at joining the Ruaraka based side saying that he considered the club his best fit after weighing several options he had on his table.
