Tanzanian Prospect Elias Lawi Lameck on Trials with Swedish Giants AIK
Highly-rated Tanzanian centre-back Elias Lawi Lameck is currently on trial with Swedish top-tier side AIK, the club confirmed in a statement on their official portal.
AIK Football announced, “We have invited the 18-year-old trial player Elias Lawi Lameck from Tanzania, and the centre-back will now train with our U19 team and the men’s senior team.” The statement continued, highlighting his background: “Born on September 12, 2005, Elias is from Coastal Union FC in Tanzania.”

Elias is a tall, left-footed centre-back who has also had trials at Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel and Gent in Belgium most recently. Tanzanian giants Simba SC were also interested in acquiring him, but Coastal Union is eager to sell him to a European club.
