FK Vojvodina Turns Down Anderlecht’s Ksh 490 Million Bid for Kenyan Star Collins Sichenje
Belgian giants Anderlecht are reportedly eyeing Kenyan international Collins Sichenje, according to Swedish media reports.
The former AFC Leopards player is currently on loan at Serbian top-tier side FK Vojvodina from Swedish giants AIK. However, after just two consecutive European games against Ajax, where he impressed, the defensive midfielder turned center-back has suddenly become the subject of transfer speculation.
This prompted Vojvodina to immediately contact AIK, expressing their interest in activating the buyout clause.

Now, according to Swedish media outlet Expressen, FK Vojvodina recently received a SEK 40 million (approximately Ksh 490 million) offer from Anderlecht, who are reportedly interested in acquiring Sichenje. Vojvodina would need to use the buyout clause to facilitate the transfer from AIK to Anderlecht.
According to the AIK-Vojvodina loan deal, Sichenje’s buyout clause is set at SEK 5 million (approximately Ksh 61 million) plus 20-25% of the next sale. Both clubs appear to have an agreement in principle for the Kenyan defender’s permanent transfer to the Serbian club.
Sichenje joined AIK in 2022 but never quite broke into the first team squad. He spent last season on loan at KUPS in Finland, where he thrived and was named Young Player of the Season—an achievement that put him on the radar in Europe, with various clubs eager to sign him. AIK, on the other hand, are reportedly keen to let him go if the right offer comes in.
