Harambee Stars stagnate in latest FIFA rankings
The Kenya football national team Harambee Stars has stagnated in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday 18th July by World Football Governing body, FIFA.
The team remains at position 108 globally, despite a surge of +2.73 points after winning two matches against Zimbabwe and Zambia in the recently concluded COSAFA Cup. The team also lost to Comoros in the same tournament.
Uganda is the top-ranked nation in the CECAFA region at position 95 globally while Tanzania has risen one position and is at 113th globally.

In Africa, Morocco maintains its top position and globally, they are placed 14th. Senegal are second in Africa and 19th globally. Egypt are third in Africa and 36th in the world. Ivory Coast are fourth in Africa and 38th globally.
Following their COPA America win, Argentina remains the top-ranked nation globally, followed by France who maintain their second position. EURO 2024 winners Spain have moved up five positions and are currently third globally, followed by England, who have moved up one place to fourth position. Former World champions Brazil have dropped a position and are now placed fifth globally.
