Four-time FKF Women’s Premier League champions Vihiga Queens kick-started their preseason in Kisii on Monday 5th August 2024.

The sole aim of the club is to better last season’s performance, where they were unable to defend the league title as debutants Kenya Police Bullets FC won the title. Vihiga Queens hence missed a glorious chance of representing Kenya in the CAF Women Champions League Qualifiers that will be held in Ethiopia.

Vihiga Queens will have a series of friendly matches including various High school teams who are in Kisii for the 2024 National Kenya Secondary School Sports Association (KSSSA) games.  Queens will also be celebrating their 10th Anniversary.

According to the team’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael Senelwa, “the events around the celebrations and pre-season tours will include CSR as the team traverses several Counties in meet-and-greet events”
