FKF Premier League side Tusker FC has parted ways with its coach Robert Matano upon the expiry of his contract.

Matano led the Brewers to win two consecutive Kenya Premier League titles(2021,2022). He also won the league with Sofapaka FC on their debut in the FKF premier league in 2009.

In 2022/23 season Tusker FC had a chance of winning two trophies, the FKF Premier League and FKF Cup but ended up finishing without a trophy.

Furthermore, he saw his side lose to Kakamega Homeboyz in the FKF Cup final at Moi international sports center.

“The lion” joined the Ruaraka-baased in 2018 after cutting ties with 1998 champions AFC Leopards.

Tusker has also released Eric Kapaito, Daniel Sakari, Brian Bwire, Eric Zakayo, Stewart Omondi, Collins Otieno, Jimmy Mbugua, Eugene Asike, Boniface Onyango, Eric Otieno and Ibrahim Joshua.
