Tusker FC sign Ugandan international Dennis Iguma
FKF Premier League side Tusker FC have announced the signing of Ugandan international Dennis Iguma, on a one-year deal. Iguma, who has been capped 63 times by the Uganda Cranes is expected to fortify the Tusker FC midfield as they give chase for the league title.
Speaking to the club’s official website on the signing, head coach Charles Okere shared his enthusiasm for Iguma’s arrival:
“He’s a player we’re familiar with, having trained with him during our time in Uganda. With his wealth of experience, he will provide much-needed depth to our young squad. His leadership qualities are exceptional, and we’re confident he will be a great asset to the team.”
Tusker FC CEO Sam Nzau also expressed excitement about Iguma joining the club:
“We are thrilled to have a player of Dennis Iguma’s caliber with us. Since his arrival, he has shown great positivity, and we are certain he will strengthen our squad as we pursue our goals this season. His experience and leadership, especially in the second half of the campaign, will be invaluable.”
Iguma has already begun training with the squad and the club is moving with speed to try and have him ready for Sunday’s game against KCB in Machakos.
