Serbian top-tier club FK Vojvodina have informed Swedish side AIK of their intention to activate the buy-0ut clause for Kenyan international Collins Sichenje who is on loan at the club.

According to Swedish publication Aftonbladet, Vojvodina has been impressed so much by the former AFC Leopards after only featuring in three games after crossing over on loan and are now ready to spend money to have him permanently.

Since joining AIK in 2022, Sichenje never secured his place in the team and spent last season on loan at KUPS in Finland where he impressed.

Known as a hard-tackling midfielder during his time in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL), Sichenje has now transitioned into a centre-back.

Vojvodina takes on Maribor in the UEFA Conference League this evening in Slovenia from 9:15PM EAT.
