Highly-rated Kenyan defender Baron Ochieng has arrived in Sweden for his long-awaited move to top-tier club Vasteras SK.

The Sofapaka right-back is set to undergo medical tests and if successful sign a long-term deal with the club.

Former Kenyan international Titus Mulama, played at Vasteras and put in a good word for the Kibra-born and raised defender to the club’s management.

Baron was signed by RMJ Sports Management early this year and the agency is believed to value him highly.

He was a shining light in Sofapaka’s otherwise gloomy 2023-24 FKF Premier League season and rightfully earned his maiden call up to the National team, Harambee Stars.
