Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada is set to join Scottish side Dundee United according to reports emanating from Scotland.

Daily Record reports that the defensive midfielder is already in Scotland to complete the move. Odada will join the club on permanent terms from Major League Soccer (MLS) side Philadelphia Union subject to passing a medical test and getting international clearance.

Odada spent last season on loan at Danish side AAB but the team did not trigger the option to buy him. He is not rated highly at Philadelphia Union hence the reason the club has decided to cash in on him.

Dundee United won the Scottish Championship last season and were consequently promoted to the Scottish Premier League.
