Team Kenya Squad for World U20 Athletics Championships in Lima, Peru named
The final squad for Team Kenya, set to compete in the World U20 Athletics Championships in Lima, Peru, from August 27-31, has been announced. After rigorous trials at Nyayo National Stadium on June 27-28, Kenya’s top young athletes have been selected to represent the nation.
Notably, the final 19-man team will not include sprinters and field event athletes, as they were barred from the trials due to lacking necessary travel documents. This leaves the team focusing on Kenya’s traditional strength in middle and long-distance running.
